CASE DESCRIPTION: This is a 45-year-old, male resident of Santa Rosa, California, who presented to the Marin County office in Novato for evaluation of his neck. His complaint was fullness around his neck and stated that it reminded him of his father. The patient did not desire a facelift and wanted just the neck and chin addressed. A chin implant was suggested for balance. He underwent a neck lift, which included liposuction of his neck, platysma muscle tightening, a mastoid jaw definition suture and skin removed from in front and behind the ear. The chin was augmented with a silicone anatomic chin implant. The procedure was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center.
